Rod rotator is an anti-partial wear equipment, specially for deflecting well and horizontal well. Rod rotator makes polished rod and sucker rods rotate clockwise, wear will spead evenly around. Reduce partial wear, prolong the service life of packing in stuffing box and the sucker rods’ service life.

Rod rotator is installed on the wirerope hanger. Polished rod clamp is seated on the rod rotator’s head cover after it grip the polished rod. When pumping unit run to the lower stroke position, the wire rope between the rod rotator and the horse head will pull the drive rod, turn it at a certain angle,
Drive handle is lifted up
Drive the ratchet to rotate
Drive the worm to rotate
Worm drive worm gear to rotate
Further,drive polished rod and sucker rod to rotate
